Two Questions about Ephesians 5:24

Two questions I would love to have answered by someone who is a Greek scholar:

Question 1:

According to the information in the link above about the Greek in Eph. 5:24, the word translated “everything” is an adjective, panti (3956, pas, “all, every”). Yet, panti is translated as if it was an adverb–as an adverbial prepositional phrase that modifies the earlier used verb (hypotassetai, 5293, “submit”) (about Christ and the church) and hence, the translation makes it sound as if wives are to “submit in everything.”

The question is: Why does panti modify a verb? Shouldn’t it modify a noun since it is an adjective. Could it possibly modify “wives” … maybe like this:  even as the church submits (hupotasso) to Christ even so all wives to their own husbands. This would remove the very problematic idea that wives have to submit in everything. This kind of rendering fits with the idea of mutual submission as shown in 5:21 which shows that all believers (including husbands and wives) are yielding to each other out of reverence for Christ (as they each are yielded to Him.)

Question 2:

Even better, could it be possible that the word panti belongs with verse 25? Used as an adjective modifying the noun “husbands”, it seems verse 25 could read like this: “All husbands love your wives …. etc.” or Husbands, all, love your wives … etc.”
