    I had a huge problem going from hypotassetai to « subject »

    Ephesians 5:25

    Thank you for clarifying the word «subject » (hupotasso) as not existing in the Greek language of the day. Paul had to create a new word!

    Verse 23 of Ephesians chapter 5:  For the husband is the kephale (the first one into battle) for the wife as Christ is for the church.  I am relieved to learn the correct translation.  Thank the Lord for providing such loving care and protection.
