    We also prayed for Christians to stand with the Truth in the Word and be bold to speak out at the risk of being ostracized and persecuted;  for us as individual Christians to maintain a pure conscience void of offense so that our prayers will be heard.  We prayed for Christians in general to have a more united front and not be divided in Biblical principals and morals so we will have a much greater impact and  influence towards the healing of our nation (the abortion and homosexual issues in regard to that!!).  Like the famous hymn written by the Anglican Priest, Sabine Baring-Gould, back in 1865 says….

    Onward Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
    with the Cross of Jesus going on before!
    Christ the Royal Master, leads against the foe;
    forward into battle, see His banner go!

    At the sign of triumph Satan’s host doth flee;
    On, then, Christian soldiers, on to victory!
    Hell’s foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
    Brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise!

    Like a mighty army moves the church of God;
    Brothers, we are treading where the saints have trod;
    We are not divided; all one body we;
    One in hope and doctrine, one in charity.

    Onward, then, ye people, join our happy throng;
    Blend with ours your voices in the triumph song;
    Glory, laud, and honor, unto Christ the King;
    This thro’ countless ages men and angels sing!

    Onward Christian soldiers, marching as to war
    with the cross of Jesus going on before!

    In reading the Book of Esther, my prayer was turned to pray that what happened to Mordecai and his people would happen with Biden and his party, and that the “reporters” (the liberal news media ) as of the news sent to King Ahasuerus would backfire on all of them and the Antifa. I pray that the Christians will fast and pray (like Queen Esther requested for Mordecai and all the Jews), so that things will backfire on the evil Haman and be stopped once and for all!  Lord, Thy will be done in and for our nation “UNDER GOD, with liberty and justice for all”  !!   (Esther 1-8…)

    Today, as I was reading 2 Chron. 32, I was impressed to pray over it concerning the election in November and the so-called “peaceful-protesting” that’s going on these days, which More than likely won’t stop even after the election without God putting a stop to it.  See what you get from reading it … I’m impressed that it matters for our prayer-life that we trust the “miraculous signs” God sends to us (dreams, visions, revelations, whatever) and also to deal with any pride in our relationships with the Lord and with others.  Pride in his accomplishments and his wonderful “reputation” nearly caused Hezekiah’s downfall and the fall of the whole nation, even after being such a Godly king (vv 24-26).  But there’s always room for repentance, which he did, praise God!  May we all continue keeping daily short accounts with the Lord so we can be instrumental in helping Him bring His Kingdom to earth and eventually the New Jerusalem (the real New-world order!) instead of the one-world government the evil one is pushing for with this Presidential election in November.  Lord, may we all do our part !

    So, here is the interview with a reporter and Attorney General Barr on Face the Nation very recently (either this week or last week):

    I failed to say how encouraging it is that so many of our prayers are being heard and answered, so we must be in the right track!  Praise the Lord!

    I’m being continually reminded of the fact that in order to have a clear sky to pray effectively as we seem to be doing, it’s of utmost importance that we try to keep very short accounts with the Lord in our day-to-day experiences at home and in all of our relationships with people, no matter the cost to our PRIDE.  Yes, there’s that P-word!  I think we’re learning to keep in the forefront of our minds that pride is what started the fall in Heaven with Lucifer, and ultimately Adam, and is most often (maybe always?) the cause of sin that blocks our service to the Lord, especially binding and loosing prayer.  In my own experience I can say that “Pride goeth before the fall.”   This fallen, wicked world that’s so riddled with rioting and “the plague,“ God commanded Adam to subdue and conquer, and that’s still our aim today.  “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven!”  Lord, you did rid Heaven of pride, and you will do the same on the Earth!

    This Pastor, Dr. Kynan Bridges, has asked for his prayer for Donald Trump to be shared with others, so I wanted to post it for anyone interested in supporting Trump as President.  It’s a marvelous prayer.  See below:

    We also prayed for the Lord to expose any idols and sins that we might not be aware of, and that we would be aware of His presence throughout the hours of our days in cooperation with Him, so that our prayer burdens will be heard and answered.  “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 3:14).  Lord, do humble all your prayer warriors !

    I want to say something about idols, since they can definitely hinder our prayer life.  If we don’t think we have any, it’s best to check often with the Lord and keep short accounts with Him.  For example, just this morning, my husband was praying over his breakfast, and he said something like this, “Father, you are the One and only God, the only God I worship…”  Immediately, he heard the Lord speaking in his heart, “Look at your plate.  No, You worship your stomach.”  He was quite taken back, and very ashamed.  He ate about a third of the food, then put the rest into the fridge for tomorrow.  (I hope he confessed his sin to the Father, but if he didn’t, it may come back to haunt him.)

    Meeting every week to pray like this is a great way to be held accountable.  Thanks, Jane, for working out the forum to include this prayer section.  I believe this is going to be a big help for us to keep accounts of what’s happening and to share our feelings and burdens.  Looking forward to praying, especially about the Presidential election.  Exciting things to come!!
